Graeme Connors - A Little Further North

I will always love this song...so many wonderful memories come with it...and they shall remain...forever...

  1. Music, and often smells, are the very best memory triggers aren't they?

  3. Yes, they are, EC. One thoughts sets off another and another and another...and very soon memories flood one's mind. :)

  4. Hey RK...it's coming! It's coming!

I've been a bit tied up these past couple of days catching up on chores I should have done; and should have been doing regularly - because a friend is coming to stay later in the week...only for a day and overnight...but my cabin needed a steam clean...if you get my drift! You know what it's like when you're expecting a visitor!

I will finish of my previous post - probably this weekend...promise! :)

  7. I, too, love "Deep Purple", Adullamite; but I love most music...my taste in music is catholic...it ranges far and wide, encompassing all...from classical through all genres.

I think my life would be very boring and uninteresting if I just liked one style of music.

I'm glad you found the music and lyrics of Graeme Connors "tolerable"...he'd tolerate that, I think! ;)

  8. I thought you would, Carol. It means a lot to me...of a special time in my life. Having lived and in Far North Queensland...the song resonates. And I guess similar applies to you because you live in FNQ! :)

The whole album is great, in my opinion. I've just about worn it out over the years. I have it on cassette and CD.

  9. Yes, it's pretty special, I reckon, Jerry...to me, anyway...and to Carol by the looks of it! :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it...the whole album is a beauty...it tugs at my Queenslander heart-strings. :)
